Pilot Program Successful So Far...

Earlier this week we announced our Inkling Markets Pilot Program on the Prediction Market Google Group and the popular prediction market blog midasoracle.org.

Since then we've had 20 new marketplaces created. They seem to be a mix of a few large companies, a few smaller companies, a few academics, and one person trying to change the world.

The activity has been great to see and we'll be continuing to promote this program and make it as easy as possible for people to understand the value of prediction markets for their organization.

Inkling Forums Are Back

Good news - Inkling Forums are back.

We were never really happy with the software we were using for the forums and when we had a problem with them a few weeks ago, we decided to take them down for good and find something else to replace them with. It took us a bit longer than we would have liked to get the site back up, but it's now back.

Unlike our previous forums, there are RSS feeds all over the place. You can have a feed for all forums or each individual forum. We should also see a lot less spam than we were seeing.

In fact before we even announced this, there is already a new post about someone looking for advice on running a market:

If you had previously signed up for our forums, your old username and password should still work.

Bet the Emmys with Joan Rivers

In partnership with VH1 and Viacom, we've launched a marketplace to predict the winners of the upcoming Emmy Awards this weekend. The marketplace was announced this morning on Joan Rivers' Emmy Site. Just click on "Bet the Emmys" or go directly from here.

We're looking forward to collaborating with Viacom on additional projects like this in the future.
